About the artist

Shine is an NYC-based queer and disabled artist, educator, and organizer. They are COVID-cautious because they believe that the most vulnerable among us, children, the elderly, and disabled people, deserve to be safe and protected. They believe in a world where all vulnerable people have the resources and support they need to thrive. They create handmade, creative, and multipurpose jewelry, and hope to combat the hyper-consumerist culture of today with slow and meaningful art. They hope that their mask chains inspire you to feel confident in your mask and help you start new conversations about masking and a better world.
